I am the website coordinator at the Permaculture Association and am responsible for everything website related. I developed the current Permaculture Association website using an open source content management system called drupal. I make sure content is added and edited, reply to queries about the website, arrange for an internet service provider so that our site has a server to run on and work with staff, trustees and members to design the website to support their needs.
I love doing website development and learning new skills to improve my work, but before this I studied psychology, taught as a Primary School teacher briefly and worked for a bank in IT. I'm trying to integrate a few of these skills and interests by teaching some Introduction to Permaculture courses and shorter sessions with a hint of psychology of change.
Since doing my Permaculture Design Course in 2006 in Spain I've been trying to develop my knowledge and practice of permaculture by designing my allotment and am now growing lots of lovely vegetables, fruit and herbs.
