Profile

About

Among a myriad of creative practices I am an environmental artist focused on the impact that waste have in our natural environment and in human health, disseminated through performance, installation art and public engagement.

A grass-roots environmentalist I have been programming events; over 100 workshops for the Camp for Climate Action in 2007; events for Manchester Permaculture Network in 2008; and produced the programme for Manchester envirolution festival, one at the Contact Theatre in 2010, and the second in Plattfield Park in 2011.

This work made me connect within local and national environmental groups and projects and also connoisseur of emergent ones.

I am member of the Wildlife Trust and the UK Permaculture Association and I have just completed the Permaculture Design Course in August 2011 with tutor Richard Perkins.

My academic background comes form the creative industries. I studied Graphic Design in Barcelona, Multimedia at the Arts College of Bournemouth, and Contemporary Arts at Manchester Metropolitan University. I combine my practice as an environmental artists, working as a graphic designer and video production freelance, and programming grass-roots environmental events.
