We're focusing on two areas for this special appeal:

Support the Working Groups

New working groups have been established for Scotland, Wales, Diploma, International, and Research. Made up of volunteers from within the membership who contribute their time for free, they work to create new ways to engage people in permaculture within their action area. They have the additional challenge of seeking funds and income and we need to give them a boost and keep them operating until this is found. Just £1000 for each working group will keep it moving, and pay for venues, travelling expenses and associated costs, for the whole year. 

International Permaculture Convergence

Through your generosity we have supported delegates from Africa to attend the IPC in past years. We would like to sponsor two delegates this year, and if we raise enough funds, a representative of the Association to present our information and proposals to the conference, held in Jordan. Please donate to this appeal as soon as you can, so that the delegates can organise travel to the International Permaculture Convergence starting on 18th September 2011.
