Tap o' Noth Permaculture is an 8 acre, smallholding, working farm and permaculture demonstration site (accredited by PRI Australia and the Permaculture Association), situated on the side of Tap o' Noth hill, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The farm began in 2012 with the aim of demonstrating cold climate, applied permaculture design and as a place to take responsibility of the family's basic needs. Tap farmers James and Rosa have been producing ecologically grown veggies for a 50 member CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) veg box scheme for the past six years while keeping dairy goats, sheep and geese to graze their areas of food forests and wood fuel coppice and chickens to sell eggs alongside the organic veggies. The farm has hosted many visitors, volunteers and students, offering Permaculture Design Courses and workshops on regenerative living and reskilling on traditional crafts and lifestyles. The aim is to create a farm that functions like a forest ecosystem. They make YouTube videos/vlogs too.
