Urban Roots is an environmental organisation based on the southside of Glasgow.
We have 3 permaculture gardens where volunteers come weekly to learn all aspects of permaculture practice.
we also do lots of work with schools and community groups on climate change and environmental education; and we look after 8 hectares of woodlands which we manage for biodiversity and education and where we are developing forest gardens.
