Workshop offers - How to Grow Asian Veg, Permaculture Gardening, Yoga, Kids Activites! - Australia
We are seeking expression of interest from organisations or people who would like us to run these workshops. We need a place to run the workshops and will charge a fee.

Workshop facilitator is Seila Hierk who has a degree in Agricultural Science, Graduate diploma in education (sec), Masters in Social Science (International Development) and a permaculture design certificate. He has developed different permaculture designs in Australia, Melbourne over the past 4 years and works as a garden specialist at Aspendale Garden primary school.
How to grow Asian Vegetables
Learn the many different methods to grow a variety of productive Asian vegetables in a temperate climate. These include choko, ginger, snake bean, yam, sweet potato, amaranth, holy basil, taro and more.
Geodesic Chicken dome
A geodesic dome is made up of triangles that make the structure stable. Learn to make a geodesic dome that can be used as a chicken tractor.
Wicking garden beds
Learn how to make self watering wicking boxes and garden beds. The wicking system stores water under the plant roots. These work best during the hot summers and for low maintenance gardens.
Permaculture in school gardens
The workshop will help teachers to teach and manage a school garden using the permaculture principles. Workshops can cover, garden bed rotations, inter-planting, orchard plantings, garden systems (mandela, herb spirals, wick garden beds) and challenges to manage a school garden.
