I am interested in trying to find a speaker to do a market place talk at a conference on "Economics and permaculture". It will be part of "Alternatives to Economic Growth" on Saturday 18th Feb 2012 9.30 to 5.30pm.

Though this has been organised by three members of Cambridgeshire Green Party and hosted on the Cambridge Green Party Website we are not wanting to make this party political event. We are trying creatively to reach a wide range of people and planning to use transition style open space as well as having speakers.

A market place talk lasts about 5-10 mins. followed by an opportunity for about 20 mins of discussion to help people understand the topic and also understand the value of permaculture in the Great Transition. The talk could take place in the morning or afternoon slot.

If anyone at the Permaculture Association network has any ideas, this would be very helpful.
