Opportunity to rent glasshouses, South East London
One of the trustees of a heritage property in south-east London has been in touch with the Permaculture Association about several large greenhouses in a walled garden in South East London.
"We used a number of them for storing/growing on plants for the local borough. Because of cutbacks in their budget we no longer use all our greenhouses.
We are approaching local nursery gardens / garden centres about the possibility of them using our spare space.
Because of an interest in permaculture we wanted to see if there were any individuals or groups who might want to investigate using the space commercially.
We have a large number of visitors to our gardens and have demonstration allotments within the walled garden. There might be the posibility of anyone taking on these greenhouses being able to sell their produce on site.
I'd be happy to give more information to anyone who might be interested."
