The Koanga Institute is a seed saving organisation, dedicated to saving the heritage food plants of NZ, supporting home gardeners and communities to become self reliant. We are a registered charitable trust.

We are in the process of significant development, and we are looking for someone to replace the present General Manager during the next 6 months. This will be a transitional process working with the existing General Manager.

The successful applicant will need some of the following attributes:-

* Have experience with financial management

* Have experience with managing teams

* Have experience in entrepenurial ventures.

* Have a background in natural sciences or resource management.

* Be interested in living in an intentional rural village community

At present this is a part-time job, however it may become a full-time job, with expansion of the present business base.
