Permaculture needs people who are willing to work in their community, neighbourhood or workplace to change things. This can sometimes be a challenging role to take on - people often like things as they are and don’t see the need for change.
The good news is that there are many millions of people working across the world to help make it happier, healthier and fairer - you won’t be alone!
Key to permaculture’s success is networking, and the Association can provide you with lists of other members in your area. The ‘people, projects’ places section on this website will also provide links to other people and groups near you.
Could you go into schools to inspire young people about permaculture?
Perhaps you could volunteer a few hours of your time to the upkeep of a permaculture garden on school grounds?

• Our website - add your Profile to the website to tell others who you are and why you are interested in permaculture. Advertise courses, workshops, events, jobs and opportunities. You could even help with development of the site - there are Working Groups working on content development and also site development. Contact Debbie (select category: website feedback).
• Permaculture Works - the members newsletter - published four times a year. Share news, thoughts, ideas, methods, your designs - whatever you think other members might like to read! Follow this link for more information on how to contribute content.
• Introduce new people to permaculture by visiting a LAND Project from small, private tours* to larger group visits.
