Introductory Weekend to Permaculture

Course Type:
Introduction to Permaculture
Summary:

There is so much advice being given these days about how to be ‘greener’, but with so many different viewpoints, where do you start? The truth is that what’s good for one person isn’t so good for another, so we need to learn how to identify the best choices in any given circumstances. Permaculture offers us the tools to be able to do this, both for ourselves & for others. On this introductory weekend, you’ll be given an overview of what permaculture is all about & how it can help you to design a lifestyle for yourself that is both more sustainable & at the same time more abundant.

You will be introduced to the ethics of permaculture & some of its principles & design methods. You will enjoy both indoor & outdoor sessions, delivered using creative & inclusive methods. You will also get to see some permaculture in action & have an opportunity to engage in some simple practical activities that you can implement when you return home. You will leave with some simple tips, that will help you to start bringing permaculture into your own life & know where to go next to learn more.
