Summary: 

Centre 81, an eco-renovated building with a ground source heat pump, will be the venue for 2-day introduction to Permaculture course on 25 and 26 February 2012.

Centre 81 is in Garelochhead, an hour to the west of Glasgow by public transport and is in a beautiful and accessible part of Argyll and Bute.

This 2-day course will teach you the basics of permaculture design that you will be able to apply to any environment. Topics include:
• Permaculture ethics and principles
• Patterns in nature
• Sustainable systems
• Permaculture design tools and strategies
• Permaculture Gardening
• Sustainable Communities
• Observation Skills
• Design exercise

The tutors will be Katherine Price and Rachel Bailey, who are currently working towards their Permaculture diploma.
