Course summary

Elpidohori (Hopeland) is a developing eco community in the hills of the Northeast Peloponnese, and is our base for this international PDC. The community is keen to develop better water harvesting/storing systems, and develop itself as a community.

Greece itself is in the throes of a rural repopulation following its economic crisis, and permaculture has a lot to offer this beautiful, struggling country as it finds its way back into abundance.
This PDC financially supports a speaking and workshop tour of Greece throughout June, where Peter will be sharing permaculture's useful ideas and techniques with people hungry for regeneration and reskilling.

The course will follow the traditional wide-ranging life-changing PDC curriculum, given unique flavour by its surroundings. It will cover land design, eco building, community development, food forests, soil improvement, working in different climate zones and much more.
