You are warmly invited to attend the Permaculture Association's 30th Birthday Party and this year's AGM!
The event will take place at the Woodhouse Community Centre in Leeds on Saturday the 9th November, 9.30am - 10pm.
There will be a great selection of workshops, discussions, diploma presentations and a visit to a nearby forest garden.
Also, it's our birthday party, so we're holding a cake competition! Take part and bring a birthday cake, and we'll sell slices to help cover the event costs. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: 1. Best in show 2. Best vegan, gluten-free cake 3. Most locally-sourced cake (local to you, not the venue!). 4. Most imaginative decoration!
As one of the activities we'll have a seed swop, so don't forget to bring along some seeds for exchange.
There will be delicious food (lunch and dinner), and refreshments thoughout the day are included in the price.
If you can't bear for the party to end, please join us for an unofficial after party at the Chemic Tavern to have a drink, a chat and enjoy some live music - it should be lots of fun!
This is a great opportunity to network, make new contacts, and get inspired by the amazing people and work going on in the permaculture world - so we really hope to see you there!
About the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

If you are a member you can make a proposal to the AGM, at least 28 days before the meeting.

Nominations for the Board of Trustees must be received 28 days before the event. Details are usually published in the newsletter preceding the AGM and further information is available from the office.
